William Abecassis

William is the founder and former lead of BlackRock’s Innovation Capital, the firm’s +$1B venture group. He served as the group’s lead investor and as a trusted advisor to over 25 early- and growth-stage companies with 8 successful IPOs. William spent over a decade at BlackRock and previously held both investment and technical roles at Bridgewater Associates, including Head of Fixed Income Trading Strategy and head architect of the firm’s FX trading system. William also served as founder of LogisticScience, a strategic consulting firm that used advanced data analytics & computational models to support decision making across Fortune 1000 clients.
