Adam Boyko, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Translational Sciences at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Boyko’s research program explores the genomics of dogs to better understand genetic disease, evolutionary genetics, and the biology of village dogs — the semi-feral pariah dogs found in much of the world today. He also investigates how inbreeding and genetic factors influence canine longevity and health. Dr. Boyko is a co-founder of Embark Veterinary, a canine genetic testing company.
