As the Cornell College for Veterinary Medicine gets ready to kick off a new six-week summer course on Genomic Data Science in Dogs, we want to highlight the cutting-edge canine genomic research at Cornell and elsewhere that has advanced our understanding of dogs. These research studies, combined with the proliferation and popularity of dog DNA testing, are opening new opportunities for owners and veterinarians to understand and care for man’s best friend.
Join Adam Boyko, Jacquelyn Evans, and Jessica Hayward as they discuss the latest canine genetics breakthroughs as well as the opportunities for canine genetic research to be brought into the classroom and inspire the next generation of geneticists and bioinformaticians.
